Magdalena Popielska, partner, attorney-at-law, specializes in intellectual property law and labor law. Member of the Warsaw Bar.

Since the beginning of her professional career, she has been a member of teams handling trademarks, industrial designs and patents enforcement and protection cases.

Magdalena advises clients on the resolution of current employment issues and also represents them in complex disputes before labour courts.

She graduated from the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.

Penkowska

Aleksandra Penkowska, partner, advocate specializing in intellectual property law. Member of the Warsaw Bar since 2011.

In her intellectual property practice, she has represented Polish and foreign clients in disputes concerning infringement of trademarks, industrial designs, patents and copyrights. She has also represented clients in prosecution proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and administrative courts. She advised on cases decided by the Court of Justice of the European Union.

She drafted and negotiated licensing agreements and agreements for the acquisition of intellectual property rights, and advised on developing a strategy for the protection of intellectual property rights in companies.

She graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, as well as from Cardiff University Law School (obtaining a Certificate of Higher Education in Legal Studies), the British Law Centre in English and European Law at the University of Warsaw, Postgraduate Studies in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Warsaw and Postgraduate Studies in Art History at Collegium Civitas.

She participates in the work of international legal associations, i.a. the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) – as a Member of the Standing Committee on Trade Secrets and the Diversity&Inclusion Bureau Advisory Committee, the International Association of Lawyers (UIA) – as Deputy Director of the UIA-IROL – Human Rights and Protection of Lawyers.

She is fluent in English.

She likes to share her knowledge, regularly supporting NGOs and taking part in projects promoting legal knowledge among children and young people.

Wojciech Dobkowski, attorney-at-law with over 20 years of experience in handling complex litigation.

Member of the Warsaw Bar Association since 1991. He specializes in criminal law in the field of commercial crimes, white-collar crimes and criminal aspects of the protection of intellectual property rights.

He was involved in many complex criminal trials, representing brand owners as an attorney for an auxiliary prosecutor.

Mateusz Hyży is an advocate with several years of experience in representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings.
He specializes in intellectual property matters, in particular trademarks and combating unfair competition.

In his career, he was associated with one of the largest Polish law firms, where he dealt with procedural aspects of industrial property protection. He also worked in a leading international law firm, gaining experience in cross-border cases.

He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the Institute of Transnational Law and Practice at the University of Washington in Seattle.

He is a member of the Warsaw Bar .

Joanna Wąsowska, Joanna Wąsowska, trainee attorney at the Warsaw Bar. She graduated from the Law Faculty at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, where she also defended her bachelor’s degree in intellectual property and new media law. She has been gaining professional experience first in Krakow and now in Warsaw, mainly in boutique law firms.

Prior to joining SK+, she was involved in providing services to business clients – primarily assisting in litigation (both civil and administrative) and advising clients on the compliance of their business with data protection and GDPR regulations.

Currently, she mainly deals with cases in the field of data protection, intellectual property and labour law.
